World’s first solar energy panel on residential roof top
Hammelburg-Germany,1991.
Mr.Hans-Josef Fell, a renewable energy specialist who now is a serving German Parliamentarian and his team installed the world’s first Photovoltaic solar energy panel on top of his Garden house in the year 1991. This solar project generates 1,8kw of electricity and the panel itself covered 18sqm.
It is very active till today.
Beside the Photovoltaic solar panels is also solar thermal plant that cares for warm water in the house. Mr.Hans-Josef Fell is a key motivator and an important contact for Wecass Institute Berlin in the German parliament as well as an advocate of WECASS mission to bring R.E technology and know-how closer and affordable to Africa.
